Meet the Partners
Alan was Articled in Birmingham and after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant remained in the profession for a while before moving into commerce for about 15 years. He returned to the profession in 1983 and set up in practice; merging with Foster & Co in 1988.
Alan has specialised in audit, accounting and taxation services to small and medium sized owner managed businesses. Although still a Registered Individual for audit purposes he likes to leave auditing to his full time colleagues. He still retains a core base of clients whom he now looks after on a part time basis.
Out of office hours, Alan is a dedicated Rotarian and member of the local Parish council. He is also a keen walker and can be often found strolling over the Clent Hills.
Keith joined his fathers firm – H.F. Pinfield and Co, in 1956 as an apprentice. Keith has over 35 years as a partner and business owner. During this time he has guided the practice to ensure it goes from strength to strength. In July 2003 Keith was pivotal in securing the merger of Foster and Company and HF Pinfield and Co to enable the new streamlined practice of Pinfields Limited.
Keith continues to help his large range of clients in not only their accounting and taxation matters but also in business development and planning.
In his spare time Keith keenly follows all equestrian interests and is a proud supporter of the Injured Jockeys Fund. He is also a race horse owner and breeder.
Nick is Pinfields' Managing Partner. Following apprenticeships at Haines Watts in Birmingham and then Foster and Company in Stourbridge, he joined his father’s business in 1994, making him the 3rd generation of Pinfield to service his local community in Bromsgrove and the surrounding Worcestershire area.
Nick is the commercial centre of advice for Pinfields and his expanding portfolio of clients. He has the vision and the business contacts to help with any client problems and concerns. As Managing Partner his strategy for Pinfields is clear – “to service clients needs in an efficient and proactive manner”
Nick played rugby for Bromsgrove Rugby Football Club and still makes the occasional turn out for the veterans. He is also a keen Cross Fitter and attends his local box. He has completed various challenges over the past few years – most notably Tough Guy. He is a devoted father of two.
Paul qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1998 and gained membership as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. Paul gained his early year experiences at Chartered Accountant practices in Hagley and Stourbridge before joining Foster and Company in 1996. Paul was invited to join the Board of Pinfields on its merger and has been a partner since.
Paul has a varied base of small and medium sized owner managed business clients and proudly aids them expand their businesses and profitability. Paul holds both Practicing and Audit certificates. As well as managing client portfolio, Paul gets involved in the ad-hoc work such as financial due diligence and business valuations.
Paul enjoys spending his spare time with his family and is an avid cricket fan. He enjoys football - although that is tempered somewhat by supporting Aston Villa and England.
